Ordering & Payment

Are AutoHQ seat covers sold as singles, in pairs, or per row?

It depends on the product, so always check the pricing line before you order:

  • Some covers are sold as singles — one seat at a time (for example, our sheepskin covers). You choose the driver's or passenger's side, or select "Pair" to order both.
  • Some are sold per row / as a pair — the two front seats together (for example, our semi-custom leatherette covers), and these typically include matching headrest covers.

If you're ever unsure how a particular cover is sold, just reach out and we'll confirm before you buy.

Are headrest covers included with AutoHQ seat covers?

This varies by product. Many of our leatherette and neoprene covers sold as a pair include matching headrest covers. Our sheepskin covers are sold as singles and headrest covers are sold separately. The "In the Box" and pricing sections on each product page spell out exactly what's included.

Why do AutoHQ custom seat covers show a price range?

Custom seat covers are priced by the complexity of your specific seat. A straightforward bucket seat sits at the lower end of the range, while intricate or large seats (certain exotics, captain's chairs, full rear benches) take more material and labor and sit higher. Once you select your vehicle, the exact price for your seats is shown.

Can I order an AutoHQ color or material sample before I buy?

Yes, and we recommend it for any custom sheepskin order. You can order a sheepskin swatch for a small fee that is fully refundable when you place a qualifying purchase — just contact us with your swatch order number and we'll refund it (no need to send the swatch back). Because screens vary from device to device, a physical swatch is the best way to confirm your color.

Can I add extra cushioning to my AutoHQ seat covers?

Yes. On custom sheepskin covers we can add a 1" foam insert between the lining and the sheepskin on the seat-bottom portion for added comfort or height, for an additional $50 per cover.

Can I request a special-order color from AutoHQ?

Possibly. Beyond our standard color lineup, special-order colors (pink, green, and others) may be available for certain products. Contact us with what you're looking for and we'll let you know about availability and pricing.

Does AutoHQ charge sales tax?

Sales tax applies to orders shipped within California only. Orders shipping outside California are tax-free.

What payment methods does AutoHQ accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover and PayPal.

Does AutoHQ offer embroidery, logos, or monogramming?

Yes, on sheepskin seat covers only.

Can I change or cancel my AutoHQ order after placing it?

For in-stock items, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to update or cancel before the order ships. Please note that custom made-to-order covers go into production quickly and, once we've begun crafting your covers, they generally can't be canceled since they're built specifically for your vehicle.

3. Tracking

Finally, when your order does ship the tracking number will be emailed to you.

What are AutoHQ's shipping options, and is shipping free?

We offer free ground shipping on qualifying orders over $199.99 to the contiguous 48 US states, shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Smaller orders may have a shipping charge calculated at checkout.

For deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, PO boxes, and US territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, etc.), contact us with your item(s) and delivery ZIP code and we'll calculate the cost for you.

We do not ship outside the USA. For our international customers, we can ship to a US contact who can then forward it to you — a freight forwarding company, a friend or relative, or even a hotel if you'll be visiting.

Will I get tracking on my AutoHQ order?

Yes. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

Can I rush or expedite my AutoHQ order?

Possibly. Contact us at (888) 288-6471, text (619) 752-4584 or email us with your needs and we may be able to accommodate. Additional charges apply.

How long does an AutoHQ custom order take to ship?

Custom AutoHQ covers are hand made to order, so allow manufacturing time plus transit time:

  • Custom sheepskin items (seat covers, console lid covers, headrest covers, floor mats) — at least 12–15 business days. If yours will take longer, we'll email you.
  • Custom leatherette seat covers — approximately 4 weeks.
  • Custom leatherette accessories (headrest covers, console lid covers) — usually within 10 business days, but can take up to 4 weeks.

Most orders then ship FedEx Ground from our Southern California warehouse; you can estimate transit time on the FedEx website using our ZIP code 92882. Your tracking number is emailed the day the order ships. Need it sooner? Call (888) 288-6471 or text (619) 752-4584 — we can sometimes accommodate for an additional charge.

Fit & Vehicle Compatibility

Do AutoHQ seat covers fit my vehicle?

Use "Shop By Vehicle" to select your make, model, and year, and we'll show the covers that fit. Our custom covers are made to the exact specifications of your seats, and chances are we've already made covers for a vehicle like yours. If we don't yet have a pattern for your vehicle, we'll locate the exact vehicle at a local dealership, build the pattern to match your seats, and verify the fit before shipping.

Are AutoHQ seat covers custom-fit or universal? What's the difference between EasyFit, Semi-Custom, ExactFit and Custom Fit?

Both — AutoHQ offers four fit levels, so you choose how close a fit you need and how fast you need it:

EasyFit (universal)
Our most affordable option. No alterations, fits virtually any seat, in stock and ships fast. Sold as singles.
Semi-Custom
Pre-made to common seat shapes for an excellent fit on most vehicles. In stock, ships fast, and our most popular choice.
ExactFit
Patterned to specific vehicles and held in stock, so you get a close fit without waiting on production.
Custom Fit
Tailored by hand to your exact seat for a flawless fit. Best for complex seats, collectible, show or exotic vehicles, or anyone who wants perfection. Made to order, so allow manufacturing time.

"Custom" always refers to the fit, not the color. See Fit Options Explained for a deeper breakdown.

Which seat types does AutoHQ make covers for?

Our custom covers are made to order for any seat in any vehicle, regardless of complexity — low-back and high-back buckets, captain's chairs, sport seats, split-bench, and solid-bench seats. Sport seats with leg extensions are fully accommodated, with free movement of both manual and powered extensions.

Can I order an AutoHQ cover for just one seat?

Yes. We offer many covers that can be ordered as a single driver's or passenger's seat, and we offer dedicated single-seat, back-row, and middle-row options.

Does AutoHQ make covers for trucks, SUVs, vans, exotics, and classics?

Yes — for virtually any vehicle. Our custom program is especially popular for exotics, show cars, and older vehicles with hard-to-find patterns. We even make aircraft seat covers.

Will AutoHQ covers work with seat belts that come out of the seat back?

Yes. Our custom covers are made following every contour of your seat, including seat belts that deploy from the backrest.

Do AutoHQ covers work with power seats and side-mounted controls?

Yes. Our strapping system is designed so it won't affect power-seat motors or the electronics underneath the seat when installed properly, and covers tuck around side-mounted controls to leave them accessible.

What are AutoHQ seat covers not good for?

We'd rather tell you up front than have you order the wrong thing:

  • They are not upholstery repair. Our covers are slip-on covers that go over your existing seats. They'll hide and protect a worn seat, but they won't rebuild collapsed foam, a broken frame, or a torn seat's shape. For structural damage, see an upholstery shop first.
  • Semi-custom covers don't fit every seat. They aren't compatible with integrated headrests that don't adjust, seat belts integrated into the backrest, seat belt guides on the top corner of the backrest (common in coupes and convertibles), or captain's chairs and middle-row buckets in SUVs, vans and minivans. Alternatives include EasyFit, seat bottom covers, or a custom made cover — contact us and we'll sort it out.
  • Powered leg extensions. Semi-custom covers are fine over manual leg extensions but aren't recommended with powered ones, to avoid motor burnout. Only custom made covers allow free movement.
  • Ventilated seats, in solid materials. Neoprene and sheepskin block airflow. Choose Air Mesh, Suede, or perforated Leatherette instead.
  • Exact color matching. Our materials arrive already dyed, so we can't match a factory color or work from a VIN.
  • The washing machine. Never machine wash or tumble dry sheepskin.
  • Returns, once custom or altered. Custom made-to-order items are non-returnable, and any cover you cut or alter becomes non-returnable.

Seat Features & Safety

Are AutoHQ seat covers airbag compatible?

Yes — 100% of our seat covers are seat-side airbag compatible. Inside the backrest and along the outboard side we use breakaway stitching and/or Velcro that lets a side airbag deploy freely, even if the cover has shifted. Prefer an open side? Our EasyFit, Universal Insert, Universal Wrap Sheepskin, and Universal Wrap Luxury Fleece covers leave the sides entirely open. See our airbag deployment demonstration video.

How far down the back do AutoHQ seat covers go? Will I still be able to reach my seat-back pocket?

It varies by product. Many covers (including our custom sheepskin) cap down the back of the backrest about 6–8", leaving map pockets accessible. Others fully cover the back and may include a built-in pocket. Here's the quick guide:

Covers that leave the back open / partially open:

  • Sheepskin — Leaves the back open for pocket access (except SuperFit, which covers the full back). A back pocket can be added to custom covers as an option.
  • Wraps & Inserts — Wraps have straps down the back that partially block access; Inserts leave the pocket open.
  • EasyFit — Straps down the back partially block access.

Covers with built-in map pockets:

  • Semi-Custom — Most include a built-in pocket (except semi-custom sheepskin, which leaves the back open).
  • Custom Fit — Most leave the back open; a built-in pocket is available for an additional charge.
Do AutoHQ seat covers work with LATCH anchors and child seats?

Yes, with a little care at install. Lower LATCH anchors sit in the crease between the backrest and the seat bottom — exactly where an AutoHQ cover tucks in — so you reach into that gap and clip in as usual. Top tether anchors sit behind or above the backrest or on the cargo floor; most of our covers leave the back of the backrest open or cap down only 6–8", so tethers stay reachable.

Two notes: our ¼" memory foam lining also helps protect your seat from the indentations a child seat leaves behind, and if your vehicle's anchors sit behind rigid trim, or you'd like a dedicated opening in the cover, contact us with your year, make and model before you order and we'll confirm.

Always re-check that your child seat is tight and correctly installed after fitting any seat cover.

Materials & Comfort

Which AutoHQ seat cover material should I choose?

Here's the short version:

Sheepskin
The ultimate in comfort: warm in winter, cool in summer, and luxurious to sit on.
Leatherette
The look of leather without the price; great for protecting or refreshing your interior.
Faux Sheepskin (Luxury Fleece)
A comfortable, vegan alternative to genuine sheepskin.
Neoprene
Waterproof and rugged; ideal if you get in wet or sweaty after the gym, beach, or a game.
Mesh (Air Mesh)
Breathable and cool; excellent over leather seats in hot climates.
Suede, Ballistic, Action Wool
Additional options for specific looks and durability needs.

For a side-by-side breakdown, see our Fabric Comparison Chart. We also invite you to take our quiz to direct you to specific seat cover options for your needs: Seat Cover Decider.

Is AutoHQ sheepskin genuine, and where does it come from?

Absolutely genuine. We use only the finest 100% grade-A premium Merino sheepskin from Australia or New Zealand, with dense fleece measuring approximately 1" (25mm) deep.

How can I tell AutoHQ's real sheepskin from synthetic imitations?

Two simple tests:

Burn test
Real wool smells like burning hair and turns to a fine black ash. Synthetic smells like plastic and melts into a small ball. See our real-or-fake sheepskin video.
Needle test
Press a needle into the material. Genuine sheepskin's leather hide resists firmly; synthetic's foam or woven backing gives way easily.
Is AutoHQ sheepskin hypoallergenic? Will it shed or smell?

Genuine sheepskin is hypoallergenic and won't cause irritation. It won't shed over time — when new you may see slight shedding along the seams, which stops on its own. Thanks to sheepskin's natural oils it's also naturally stain resistant and won't develop a bad odor; any light new smell dissipates quickly.

Do AutoHQ seat covers work with heated or ventilated seats?

Yes to both — on the right material.

Heated seats

All AutoHQ seat covers work with heated seats; warmth radiates right through. Sheepskin and Faux Sheepskin are both fully compatible.

Ventilated / air-conditioned seats

  • Air Mesh — our exclusive breathable mesh reduces airflow from air-conditioned seats by only 25%.
  • Suede — micro-perforated Italian suede center inserts are compatible with air-conditioned seats.
  • Leatherette — micro-perforated center inserts for compatibility with air-conditioned seats.

Solid, non-perforated materials such as neoprene and sheepskin will block airflow from a ventilated seat. If you have both heated and cooled seats, tell us your year, make and model and we'll point you to the right material.

Which AutoHQ materials are waterproof, and which are water-resistant?

Neoprene is fully waterproof — our top pick if spills or wet gear are a regular thing. Sheepskin is naturally water-resistant and handles the occasional spill well when blotted promptly, but it isn't waterproof.

Are AutoHQ seat covers pet-friendly?

Yes — many customers use our covers to guard against fur, muddy paws, and scratches, and we offer covers well suited to dogs. If pets are your main concern, ask us and we'll point you to the best material for the job.

Do AutoHQ seat covers get hot in summer?

No — with the right AutoHQ material your seats actually run cooler:

  • Sheepskin is thermostatic. Its hollow fibers wick heat and moisture away in summer for a cooling effect and trap warmth in winter, holding a steady, comfortable temperature year-round — and it's cool to the touch in a car that's been parked in the sun.
  • Air Mesh is our coolest option. The porous, breathable weave lets air flow between you and the seat, so no more burns getting into a hot vehicle.
  • Suede is cool to the touch and adds a luxurious look.
  • Faux Sheepskin keeps you warm in winter and won't get hot in summer.

Smooth, non-perforated materials such as leatherette and neoprene will feel warm after hours in direct sun, the same as any smooth surface. If heat is your main concern, take our Seat Cover Decider quiz or call us.

How long do AutoHQ seat covers last?

It depends on the material and care, but genuine sheepskin covers have an expected lifespan of 12–15 years when cared for properly. They're built to last with heavy-duty threading and premium materials.

Do AutoHQ seat covers fall apart? How durable are the seams and stitching?

Durability starts with how the cover is built. Every AutoHQ cover is sewn with heavy-duty 3-strand polyester threading, uses rugged 800 denier nylon straps and buckles, and has solid PVC piping bound along the edges of front-row covers. Most covers are built in three layers: the outer material, ¼" memory foam padding, and a soft felt backing. Genuine sheepskin covers have an expected lifespan of 12–15 years when cared for properly.

If a seam, strap, snap or stitch does fail, that's exactly what the warranty is for. We repair it at the factory free of charge for 6 months to 3 years depending on the cover, and you cover cleaning and shipping to us. Normal wear and tear, color fading, and abuse aren't covered — see what warranty comes with AutoHQ seat covers for the term on each product line.

Our covers are made by hand in Corona, California, so a repair goes back to the same factory that built it.

Are AutoHQ seat covers made in the USA?

Our custom seat covers are proudly handmade in the USA — in Corona, California — by skilled craftspeople who specialize in seat covers.

What materials are AutoHQ seat covers made from?

We build seat covers in eight core materials:

Sheepskin
100% grade-A premium Merino sheepskin from Australia or New Zealand, with dense fleece approximately 1" (25mm) deep.
Leatherette
The look and feel of leather without the cost, available with micro-perforated center inserts.
Suede
Italian suede, cool to the touch, with micro-perforated center inserts.
Neoprene
Genuine CR-grade neoprene — the same synthetic rubber used in high-end wetsuits — with an outer nylon Lycra layer. Fully waterproof.
Air Mesh
A breathable, porous mesh weave that regulates seat temperature by allowing airflow.
Ballistic
Rugged ballistic nylon for hard-working vehicles.
Action Wool
A hard-wearing woven wool option.
Faux Sheepskin (Luxury Fleece)
A comfortable vegan alternative to genuine sheepskin.

Most covers are built in three layers — the outer material, ¼" memory foam padding that protects seats from indentations, and a soft felt backing — sewn with heavy-duty 3-strand polyester threading, with rugged 800 denier nylon straps and buckles and solid PVC piping along the edges of front-row covers. Compare them side by side on our Fabric Comparison Chart.

Colors & Matching

How accurate are the AutoHQ colors shown on the website?

Our photos are, in our opinion, an excellent representation of our true colors — but every screen displays color a little differently. We recommend viewing our photos on more than one device, and ideally while sitting in your vehicle, to confirm your choice. For any custom sheepskin order, a physical swatch is the surest way to know.

Can AutoHQ match my exact interior color? Can you match my factory color or VIN?

Our colors are neutral tones designed to look great in any vehicle, but we can't guarantee an exact match to your interior, and we're unable to color-match a factory color or work from a VIN — our materials arrive already dyed and we don't create custom colors. Even a factory-matched color would often differ from seats that have faded with age. Send us a photo of your interior and tell us which product you're considering, and we'll gladly share our opinion on the best match. Color swatches are available for a small, refundable charge.

Why might two AutoHQ sheepskin orders not match, and how do I avoid it?

Sheepskin is a natural product, so dye lots and individual pelts can take color slightly differently. To guarantee a match, order all of your sheepskin pieces at the same time. If you order a sheepskin swatch, we keep a small piece from the same skin on file for 30 days so we can match when you do order.

Installation

Are AutoHQ seat covers hard to install? Can I do it myself?

Most customers install them themselves. All our covers are slip-on covers that go right over your existing seats — no need to reupholster and no special tools required. Bucket seats generally take about 20–30 minutes each. For help, see our installation instructions and videos, or call and we'll walk you through it (we can even help over FaceTime or Skype).

Do I need to remove my seats to install AutoHQ covers?

There's no need to remove your seats to install front-seat covers. For rear bench covers, the back seat and headrests generally do need to come out for installation.

Do I need to remove the headrests to install AutoHQ covers?

For bucket seats, headrest removal is usually required. Most headrests release with a button or a pin in the release mechanism. If your headrests don't remove, no problem — we will create an opening with Velcro between the headrest posts so the cover still goes on cleanly.

Will AutoHQ straps damage my seats or affect power-seat function?

No. When installed correctly, our durable elastic straps and metal hooks hold the cover securely without slipping, sliding, or leaving marks, and they won't interfere with power-seat motors or the electronics beneath the seat.

Will AutoHQ covers slide or shift while driving?

No. Our strapping and binding system holds covers snugly in place for years of use when installed properly.

I'm elderly or have limited mobility — can I still install AutoHQ seat covers?

Installation involves reaching under the seat, feeding straps through tight gaps, tucking the cover into crevices, and kneeling outside the vehicle. We recommend inspecting your seat before ordering to decide whether you can do this comfortably or would prefer help from a friend, family member, or an upholstery shop. We're also glad to guide you by phone or video.

What comes in the box with AutoHQ seat covers?

Your seat cover(s) as ordered. Custom sheepskin covers usually arrive as a single solid piece (sometimes as separate backrest and seat-bottom pieces) and are sold as singles — matching headrest covers are sold separately. Check each product's "In the Box" section for specifics.

Do AutoHQ seat covers require cutting to install?

In the vast majority of installs, no. Every AutoHQ cover is a slip-on cover that goes right over your existing seats — no reupholstering, no removing the seats, and no special tools.

There are two situations where a small opening is the cleanest solution:

  • Headrest posts. Some covers don't come with pre-made holes. Install the cover to your satisfaction, locate the headrest holes, cut a small cross (for sheepskin, a small slit), tuck the material under the plastic molding, then replace the headrest.
  • Backrest release levers. If there's no slot for a lever on the side of the backrest, make a small slit with a razor once the cover is positioned, then tuck the edge underneath the molding.

Cutting will not void your warranty — but a cover you've altered becomes non-returnable, so fit it first, be sure, then cut. Our installation instructions and videos show both, and we're glad to walk you through it by phone, FaceTime or Skype.

Care & Cleaning

How do I clean my AutoHQ seat covers?

It depends on the material:

Leatherette
Simply wipe down; you can also use Simple Green or a car-interior leather cleaner.
Neoprene / Mesh
Wipe clean; spot clean as needed.
Sheepskin
Lightly brush with a wire dog brush and vacuum to keep it fluffy. Spot clean spills with water and mild soap, blotting up as much liquid as possible and letting it air dry. Febreze and Scotchgard are safe to use (though Scotchgard isn't necessary thanks to sheepskin's natural stain resistance).

For more information check with our full page on Cleaning and Maintaining your Seat Cover.

Can I machine wash or tumble dry my AutoHQ seat covers?

Never put sheepskin in a washer or dryer — it can ruin the covers. For deep cleaning, sheepskin can be dry cleaned. For other materials, we recommend wiping and spot cleaning rather than machine washing.

For more information check with our full page on Cleaning and Maintaining your Seat Cover.

How do I handle a spill on AutoHQ seat covers?

Blot up as much liquid as possible right away, spot clean the area, and allow it to air dry. Prompt blotting is the key to keeping any material looking its best.

For more information check with our full page on Cleaning and Maintaining your Seat Cover.

Will the color of AutoHQ seat covers fade over time?

Our colors are fade-resistant and last for many years. For sheepskin, fading is least likely on lighter colors and in vehicles that aren't constantly parked in direct sunlight. (Normal color fading over time isn't covered under warranty.)

For more information check with our full page on Cleaning and Maintaining your Seat Cover.

My AutoHQ leatherette or neoprene covers arrived with markings or depressions. Is something wrong?

Not at all — this is completely normal. The marks come from the covers being folded in the shipping box, just like a mattress shipped in a box. They fade once the covers are installed, and faster in summer when your interior warms up.

For more information check with our full page on Cleaning and Maintaining your Seat Cover.

Returns, Warranties & Guarantees

What is AutoHQ's return policy on seat covers?

We offer a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee on non-custom, unaltered items. To qualify, items must be clean and in new, unused, resellable condition with all parts and original packaging, and prior return authorization is required. We don't charge restocking fees when these conditions are met. Full details are on our Return Policy page.

Can I return a custom made-to-order AutoHQ item?

Custom made-to-order items are not returnable, since they're built by hand specifically for your vehicle. That said, we stand firmly behind our work — if there's ever a fit or quality issue, we'll work with you to make it right, evaluating the item at our facility (with a prepaid label) and repairing or replacing it at our discretion. Accepting the no-return policy on custom items is a required checkbox at checkout.

What happens if my AutoHQ covers don't fit right?

Nine times out of ten it's an installation detail we can solve together. Call us at (888) 288-6471 or check our installation videos first. If our team determines it's a product issue, we'll take it from there — we guarantee the fit.

Does AutoHQ charge a restocking fee?

Not when your return meets all our standard conditions. A 25% restocking fee (or, in some cases, denial of a refund) may apply at our discretion — for example, if authorization is requested more than 30 days after shipment, if items are returned without authorization or past the authorized window, or if items come back dirty or damaged. See the Return Policy for the full list.

Are AutoHQ Hot Buy, Clearance, or Closeout items returnable?

No — those items are final sale and not covered by the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. The manufacturer warranty still applies to them.

Does AutoHQ have an extended holiday return period?

Yes. Orders placed and shipped between November 1 and December 31 are eligible for a refund through January 31 of the following year, with all other conditions still applying.

What warranty comes with AutoHQ seat covers?

Our covers are warranted to the original purchaser against defective materials and workmanship for 6 months to 3 years, depending on the cover. The warranty covers repairs such as broken straps, loose stitching, and broken snaps; it does not cover normal wear and tear, color fading, or abuse. Warranty repairs are performed at the factory free of charge (you cover cleaning and shipping to us).

Semi-Custom Sheepskin Seat Covers

Universal fit covers (SuperFit, Insert, Wrap)

Will installing AutoHQ seat covers void my vehicle's warranty?

Our covers are removable, slip-on covers that don't modify your vehicle, so they generally have no effect on your vehicle's warranty. If you have any concern, we recommend confirming with your dealer.

Can I move my AutoHQ covers to another vehicle if I sell my car?

Universal-fit covers can often move to a similar seat. Custom and semi-custom covers are shaped to your specific seats, so they usually won't fit a different vehicle. If you're planning ahead, let us know and we'll advise on the most transferable option.

Can I test-fit AutoHQ covers and still return them?

Yes, within limits, and only on non-custom items. A careful trial fit is fine — a cover that's been driven on, cut, or soiled is not.

  • Request return authorization within 30 days of the ship date; authorization is required before you send anything back.
  • Items must come back clean and in new, unused, undamaged, unaltered, resellable condition, with all parts and accessories, in the original packaging, inside a shipping box.
  • Return the item within 15 days of the date the return was authorized. Nothing is accepted 45 days after the original ship date, outside the holiday return period.
  • No restocking fee when all conditions are met.
  • Custom made-to-order items are non-returnable, and any cover you cut or alter becomes non-returnable.

If the fit seems off, call us at (888) 288-6471 first — nine times out of ten it's an installation detail we can solve together, and we guarantee the fit. Full terms are on our Return Policy page.

Where is AutoHQ located, and are you a US company?

We're a 100% US-based company and have been serving drivers since 1995. Our custom made covers are handmade in Corona, California.

Our Corona location is a warehouse only — there's no showroom. But our team is happy to help you choose over the phone, by text, or by email, and swatches are available so you can see and feel our materials at home.

Why do AutoHQ products carry a Proposition 65 warning?

California's Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide a general warning when products may contain any of a long list of chemicals the state tracks. This warning is a standard notice seen on a huge range of everyday consumer goods sold in California and doesn't indicate a specific defect in our covers. You can learn more at www.p65warnings.ca.gov.

What do AutoHQ customers say about service?

Read them yourself on AutoHQ's Trustpilot page. The compliment we hear most is about people, not products: customers name the staff member who helped them get a cover fitted right. That's by design — we've been fitting seat covers since 1995, and you reach someone who knows the patterns.

  • Reach us by phone at (888) 288-6471, text at (619) 752-4584, or email, Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm PST and Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm PST.
  • Fit trouble gets hands-on help — we'll walk you through installation by phone, FaceTime or Skype, and review photos of your seats.
  • We guarantee the fit. If our team determines it's a product issue rather than an install detail, we take it from there.

Where we've taken criticism, it's most often been the speed of refunds. Returns need prior authorization and are processed after the item is inspected at our warehouse, so if a refund is taking longer than you expect, call or text us and we'll chase it down for you. We read and reply to every Trustpilot review, good and bad.
