No. Our covers have a soft felt backing that sits against the upholstery, and they protect the seat from further wear, UV fading, and indentations. They install over the existing seat with straps and buckles — nothing is glued or cut into the factory upholstery.
Not ours. Every AutoHQ cover is 100% side-airbag compatible — we build in velcro, breakaway stitching, or openings along the outboard side of the backrest so the airbag deploys freely. This is a real concern with generic universal covers, which often wrap the deployment seam solid.
Yes. EasyFit Leatherette and EasyFit Air Mesh are sold as singles, so you can cover just the driver's seat if that's the only one that's worn. Seat-bottom-only covers are also available if the wear is limited to the seat cushion.
Yes. Air Mesh works with heated and air-conditioned seats, reducing airflow by only about 25%. Leatherette is also compatible with heated seats. If you rely heavily on ventilated seats, Air Mesh is the more breathable of the two.
